About this event
A little hard bop, a little soul, and plenty of room to stretch out.
Trumpeter Nigel Cathey returns to Rudy’s Jazz Room for a late-night session featuring music from Clifford Brown, John Coltrane, Kenny Barron, Herbie Hancock, and Chick Corea, with a few soulful favorites mixed in.
Straight-ahead swing, deep grooves, and four musicians letting the music go wherever the night takes it.
Come settle in, grab a drink, and stay awhile. This is what late-night jazz is all about.
On the bandstand: Nigel Cathey — Trumpet & Piano Matt Twaddle — Piano Leland Nelson — Bass Daniel Ferreira — Drums
