Lebanon hosts Oakland and Green Hill hosts Blackman in Friday's playoff openers
The 5AM Lebanon team
If you're headed to a playoff game Friday, Lebanon's has plenty of storylines. No. 2 seed Lebanon (7-3) hosts No. 3 Oakland (8-2) at 7 p.m. Fri., Nov. 6 in the first round of the TSSAA state playoffs. Oakland lost 36-34 at Riverdale on a 41-yard field goal as time expired. That one kick was the difference between a No. 1 seed and a No. 3 seed.
Lebanon lost 17-7 to Cookeville last week with a chance at a league championship on the line. Junior quarterback Nate Dye, a Station Camp transfer, left that game with an injury in the second quarter.
